Depends how you make the sliding tackle though. If you aim it in a way where the ball travels to your team mate, then you are a beast. Agility and speed are definetly a lot better because thats what I use, but there is a defender on my high school team who is there just for slide tackling. And he does it in such a way that the ball always travels to a midfeilder. Depends on people's preferences though.

If I was coaching your team, I would've went to the other team's coach and rescheduled a match with another ref. The other coach must've realised the match was a shambles?

Na, the other coaches and the Langcraig's supporters were only escalating the matter, shouting at my brother's team and making things worse. Strange thing is, he plays better when he's angry. The reason he got sent off was because he got tackled and he questioned it (did I say he tackled someone? I forget :P), but he went from his defensive position and got past about 4 or 5 guys until he got taken out half way up the field.
