Just finished (almost... gotta do the report) my 'introduction to 3D applications' module at university and its taken me AGES. Am a little disapointed with a few area's but ive tried my best with what ive learned over the first year of uni. It took me 15 hours to render a 1minute sequence with a camera going around the environment. Just annoying the camera track isnt the smoothest in the world but meh.
Anyway i cant upload the 1minute video as i dont have any webspace at the moment. But heres a render. What do ya think? :)
thanks for the support people :). Will let you know what marks i get come the end of summer.
Am hoping for around 65% (which works out to a 2:1). Anything above 70% would be a 1st (the best mark you can get at university). I've only managed a first once so far and that was in digital image production A.K.A. photoshop.
Cheers again :). If i find a host i will upload the animation. Theres allot more to the environment that just the set of stairs (it has plants, laptops, a 3rd floor, plasma screen TV's and loads of other stuff)

Awesome, the only one tiny fault, and it's not even that glaringly obvious, the golden light fittings on the back wall seem a little out of place. Can't put my finger on why but they just look sort of weird. Maybe it's just me, but amazing other than that :D
