I guess it was... some sort of an shooter game, don't quite remember the name but it was in gamecube or nintendo 64. I think i was 10-11 at the time

I always hated dark places in games + I don't prefer to see people getting killed.
C) What certificate was this game, and do you think it was suitable?
14+ or 18+ don't quite remember. Yes.

I enjoy violent games, but i prefer no blood/gore.

I've heard of a few.

Depends how into the game I'am. In general all games seem to take my mind off whats happening right now.

Grand Theft Auto: Sand Andreas, age 13

The reaslism of it, it showed how people lived in gangs and how people sells drugs and how it was used/prepared.
C) What certificate was this game, and do you think it was suitable?
Certificate as in rating? if so rated M, sorry if its the wrong thing, but i think it was.

Honestly, no, the only time that i would like to see it in a game is if the actual story line had to do with something that would eventually end up in seeing these kinds of things.
i.e. Resident Evil series, Call Of Duty, Dead Space etc.

Probably, yes, with the gang activity and violence going up in certain areas where i live, it could be a possibility that the incidents where related to situations.

Well, personally, at first it doesn't affect you until you really start getting into it, as i saw myself starting to act out some things in the game but caught myself and realized what was causing everything, but yes, it definitely altered my mood at a certain point.

Well, personally i don't now, but other times i will see other individuals start doing this and relate things to real life and start to go about it as if the game where to.

I have played a lot of gory games but non have affected me as much as Metal Gear Solid 4.

The storyline on how War is a business and that people are pawns really hit home. Also the whole "Beauty and the Beast" story was violent and shows the extremes people go to in times of war.

15. Yes I do believe it is suitable.

No - I consider a deep storyline a crucial element.

There has been a few incidents, namely the GTAIV stabbing incident in London on release night.

I find that they can alter my mood depending on the situation, from sadness to angry. Although it has to be the storyline that does it, I am unaffected by the blood and gore elements.

Storyline mostly as it was based around demons. The music also played huge part in creating the horror.

It was 15+ but looking back i was to young to play.

B) Graphics and realism made it seem so violent when almost all deaths end up you cut into pieces.
C) M and yes.
4. Sometimes. Extreme violence sometimes turn me off, on the other hand, it sometimes gets me pumped.
5. Yes. A boy killed his mother and wounded her father because they didn't let them play Halo 3.
6. It relaxes me because i occasionally have a bad day and want to let my feelings go. I can safely release my feelings without harming one another by killing people in-game.
7. I always separate the real life from games.
