There was a story a long time ago of some dude who spent $100,000+ on Entropia and has already made it back. People are getting rich off that game, and fast. I've sold accounts on Monster&Me for $200 and the one I have now should fetch $500 in a month or so.
I made $600 USD selling b-grade equipment / my accounts @ ERL2 in the early days :x
It wish i had enough money to create a dedicated server to rake in the money, because after doing that all you have to do is setup a forum with google ad's and you get an everlasting cash flow.
This is an intresting idea. I'm gona try to find out some more about this thing.... Verry fascinating :D

Yeah i heard of this a while ago, not sure if its the same story but similar. I once knew a guy in highschool that sold he's DAOC account for 1,000 dollars. Though all he did was play the game, in fact he rarely came to school just to play..
