Didn't know where to post this so move if its wrong. Does anyone here play Warhammer 40k on tabletop? I've kinda been getting into it and painting the minitures. If anyone else plays show a pic of your army.

i used to collect them when i was younger and more people round here were into it
never really got into that much however i do love the games
I used to collect them but stopped cus it was starting to get expensive also never played the game properly just made up own rules ^_^, collected Black Templars and Imperial Armour :wiggle:

Do you even know what Warhammer 40k is? And if so then you have a completely fucked up way of comparing things. I fail to see how W40k is anything remotely close to pokemon. If you can think of one thing that actually contitutes a similarity between the two, then by all means give me your best shot. Otherwise shut the fuck up and don't post on this thread because no one cares if you don't like it. I asked if anyone else played it. I thought about getting an Imperial Guard army. But just too many of them. They are one of those armies that has numbers, and not neccesarily strength, in their units. I like the small elite armies...first one I got was Necron but I found Chaos looked so much more badass.
Chaos are just the twisted normal Marines, and Marins were the original Warhammer. Find them amazingly boring and Imperial Guard pwn. Took em out for fun when I first started collecting and fully owned up the room :D and I didn't know wtf I was doing lol.

PS: I used to have more fun painting than playing, never had time to understand the rules.
I do the specialty Chaos, like Thousand Sons or Nurgle. Those have special troop types that are unique to that Chapter. But the coolest looking army I'd say has got to be the Daemon Hunters (Grey Knights) or the Tyranids. Both are much to detailed for me to paint right now...I'm still a noobie.
I'll try and get a picture of the Elder Avatar I painted. :D Fucking pro tbh lol.

I used to play 40k for a while, collected orks and necrons but it got too expensive an I stopped. It wasn't a bad game though.
i play warhammer 40k but not as much as i use to i had won 17 regional tournements and entered 1 americaian tourny and came 17 over all. i colllected orks
oh yeah I also had a small tyranid army before they revamped the species.

Had Like 1K worth of Useless crap of it, was Kinda fun painting the Shizzles.
