thank god i live in canada, dont get me wrong im not from here originaly moved here when i was 10 and a few years ago my dad passed away and thats where the system fucked us over.... single mom two kids barely enough to live by all we have is bills.... right now i have the internet and thats all no tv just the simple basics lol i can hardly wait till i get my ass into college and start ranking up the big bucks (but why should i complain about this although my situation isnt all that nice theres always someone worst off so im good where i am, all i can do is build on it.)
The US government is based on the people. It's a democracy you ignorant canadian. Democratic nations around the world base their constituion off ours originally. Canada makes most of it's money by selling exports to the US. It's pathetic how countries in trouble come running to the UN or US governments for help and then turn around and fucking critisize us on how we handled the situation. Well.. I'll start by talking about the picture.
The picture is a horrible sight, but people dont understand that it is not an uncommon sight in third-world countries. The wealthy countries are lucky that they were able to have a rich past, which did...unfortunately require them to even conquer countries in Africa. In a way we are responsible for the poverty that these people have, but in another way they are too. The Sahara is the worlds largest desert located in Africa. It was created by the process of desertization, brought on by people grazing there cattles in the land and not allowing new plants to grow. If the Sahara were an active rain forest then Africa might not be in such a spin. People must also understand that not all third-world countries can be helped. The United States and the other super-powers arent going to risk the lives of their innocent military men and women to better a doomed country. In the end it IS survival of the fittest.
And the remark about the Pentagon not being hit as hard as the World Trade Center was a stupid one. The WTC was made of steel and glass, the Pentagon IS made of reinforced stone and steel. You can throw a grenade at a wall and it wont blow very easily. The architects didnt think a Jumbo Jet going at high speeds would be crashed into the building. Plus No one can really compare the size of the damage to each building because the towers were eventually collapsed.
The United States got where it is today with much heartache and a lot of suffering. The United States sunk to its lowest and rose to its highest with the efforts of the Government and the efforts of its people. We got where we are today because of hard work and determination to be the best. Perhaps these suffering countries need to learn to do the same. Make some allies and get some help. Most third-world countries are controlled by tyrants, and the US cant do a DAMN thing without US citizens saying it doesnt want to become Imperialist. Basically it is our fault we cant help these people, and it is something the US has to deal with.
I dont care what people in other countries care(European countries), the US CANNOT help these people without some sort of conflict stopping us. THE US IS NOT INVINCIBLE, we have our own people to worry about. We have illegal immigration to worry about. We have corruption to worry about. We have terrorism that we are responsible to stop. We have OUR GOD DAMN LIVES TO WORRY ABOUT. NOT THESE PEOPLE.
Oh and we have a struggling economy to worry about also....there's also oil shortages. How about homocide? Suicide? Civil Rights groups?
When we fix all of that we might help.
