So for my 3rd semester of my Physics with Astrophysics course at uni I'll mainly be doing:
PC 2101: Fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics: The titles pretty self-explanatory. Just don't ask me what Quantum Mechanics is! :tp:. I'm actually looking forward to this course because the lectures are done by one of the 3 best lecturers we had last year. The man's got humour and when he explains things he actually makes sense.
PC 2141: Electromagnetism: The sequel to a 1st year course called "Electricity and Magentism". Basically the sames ideas get peddled with more maths.
PC 2161: Programming in C: *gasps* Programming! In C! (And later on C++). Please help me with this! I don't have the best of hopes for this course, based on the comments and feedback from previous years.
PC 2171: Mathematics of Waves & Fields: More maths. What more can I say?
PC 2181E: Amplifiers & Feedback: Basically electronics. Dreading this if I have to be honest. Electronics all went so wrong last year for me and my lab partner.
PC 2491: Galaxies: A course on the physics of galaxies. How hard could it be? *nervous laugh* Past students have commented on the poor lecturers poor ability at communicating, mainly down to (and I quote from a the results of a questionnaire): "Language difficulties". Language difficulties? In a lecturer? Very worrying.

But all I can say is about this coming year is: Bring it! _|_
Calculus is easy peasy (with practice). :smartass:
