Doing your kids sounds wrong, for work or not.

I can relate to that being a strong motivation for the job (the influence), right? :P

You get a nice kick when you know that your work helps others.

Switched Jobs. Now a yard labourer for Travis Perkins picking building supplies i.e Plasterboard, brick, bonding, timber and so on.

Weird init. How you can go so low to the point where you think that nothing could possibly get worse. Then one day, an opportunity comes up. At first you see it as a small improvement but the balance is still way out. Time goes by, things slowly get better without even realising it. It's only then, when you look back to the dark days, that you truly notice the difference.

    I'm happy.

Re: What do you do for work?

In a local microbrewery, I'm a Brewer. I love my work. I really love my job. It's a lot of toil, but it's fun to us. Most of my day I pump cleaning chemicals, transfer malt bags or pump boiling fluids. Much washing and work in detail.I first came into it through homebrewing. After seeing an add online, I got a job as an assistant brewer. My way to where I am now has succeeded. I did it 5 years ago and can guarantee I never leave the beer business. We're not doing much money. We are not making much money. However, I'm very glad.
