Depends, if you like how it looks then it's kinda a friend, if you like it shaven then you're fucked, tbh i hate shaving, it's just like showering, brushing your teeth etc, it just adds more time in the bathroom, world would be easier if you could determine your own hair grow, your teeth would clean basicly itself and sweat would smell like nothing...
