Oh how facts are twisted, and how this is not news. America has been "planning" a nuclear strike since day one, which will probably never lead to an actual plan, but is scary none the less. Would this 'fear' be a tactic of war?
well if they are going to do it they are doing it for a good reason, might even save the future for many different countries.
I can't say i like it, people will die and that is never fun.
Ww3??
could be since Bush has an IQ below 80Originally Posted by LightWarrior

Who do you think makes the actual decisions for military action? Who do you think actually makes decisions on a more supreme level? I'll give you a hint, it is not Bush; he is a mere scape goat. Knowledge is power, so don't squander yourself on hate or anger, especially if it is misplaced.Originally Posted by Hitsu

I sincerely doubt this would happen, at least without any immense attack first on America... The people of the U.S. would not, I repeat, would not stand for it.. Bush's approval rating is 34%... And I think that is being generous.
But like someone said, Bush doesn't have ultimate power anyway... only Congress can declare war..
bush never has ultimate power and yet people still blame him for everything...do they not know anything about how our government works....only need to know just a little to know he dosent have power over everything
In regards to the War in Iraq, etc..
The president
The president of the United States has no clear constitutional authority to declare war without congressional approval. However, the U.S. Supreme Court has determined that the president, as commander-in-chief of the military, does have the authority to recognize a "state of war" initiated against the United States and may in these circumstances unilaterally send U.S. troops into battle. President Bush has also stated that his powers as commander-in-chief allow him to act independently in defense of the nation.
The president did not seek a formal declaration of war from Congress. But he did seek congressional support, he said, to demonstrate to the United Nations and to the world that military action against Iraq was not just his own objective; it was a view supported by the American electorate as a whole. Strategically, support from the legislators bolstered the president's case as he pressed the UN Security Council for a resolution authorizing military force in Iraq.
Congress
The Constitution of the United States gives Congress alone the authority to formally declare war. But in several past conflicts Congress has relinquished this authority to the president. In fact, Congress has not issued a formal declaration of war since World War II.
Bush has also stated that his powers as commander-in-chief allow him to act independently in defense of the nation.

for people too lazy to read it theres 2 really good details from it
I think it's the whole US government that stinks.
If it is WW3 I hope I don't have to fight against any of you.
Rz is a home from home and a second family.
Now enough of the squishy sentimentality, if you get in my way I wil kill you ;)
If Bush attacks Iran, there will be civil war in the USA.
WW3 eventually.
WW3 is a disturbing thought which sends shivers down my back.
not much point in being disturbed about it.
If it happens it happens and there's nothing we can do about it.
but lets not be negative maybe a peace loving alien race will discover us and have pity on the rest of the universe and commit planetary euthinasia ^_^
oh there's gonna be a WW3. No doubt about that. Too many idiots in governments these days. The only question is when.
And if any country, it's gonna be the US that provokes it.........they got the most idiots in government. they're all like shoot first ask questions later......on a war-scale.
agreed.
although I have a theory that if blair sides with bush to start ww3 random government ppl and the public will assasinate him and put a new leader in power who will try and stop bush from being a prick....ok stop him from being more of a prick.
blair wont side with bush in such matters anymore...
he lost a lot of popularity for siding with bush on the Iraq thing. The Brits just disagree with tha americans generally.
yeah we do but blair is an idiot and just might side with bush if he puts enough pressure on him, especially considering that lately america has been leading the world in its decisions even if others won't agree.
