I'd invest a good portion of it in the stock market. I'd try to live my life as normal as possible and still try and achieve my job goals and whatnot. I would just be comforted by the fact I had money to fall back on.

Save. Invest. Still go to school. Buy any game I want with the best specs for PC. Enjoy an easier fullfilling life.
If it was a significant amount, I would buy a house, sort my debts and possibly buy a car. I'd continue to work because £1M isn't that much money tbh.
nothing much, buy a house and keep it in a bank and live off the interest.
Using the £113m that was won on the Euromillions the other year, I have a plan in mind for this.
I'd pay every council in the UK to allow me to place a statue of myself within on of their parks, they'd all have my name underneath, however they'd all be different poses. In one I'd be dressed like Zeus, throwing lightning. Another, dressed as a Knight slaying a Dragon, another as Hercules killing the Lion.
I'd then get two massive statues of me in the style of those on the River Anduin in Lord of the Rings, at the entrance to my manse.
The goal? When I pass on, people would look at these statues and giggle saying "What a dickhead". But as long as they giggle I'm happy :)
If I won it right now I'd drop out of University, go do some cool shit, pay one of the local ancient British Universities a nice wee grant to buy my way on to another degree stream and do Uni again, all the while in the background I'm making smart investments and building up my wealth to the point where I'll continue for years to make millions whilst being able to use what I've made to practice philanthropy.
