buying cars ect is useles cos they depreciate with time... art and stocks usually gain value so only they are worth investing in... unless its a short term purchase in which case going into real estate would be the best option.

personally i'd buy a lot (not alot, i mean a lot) of land and build a lan centre and let everyone i know use it for free (only people i know so the place doesn't get trashed or anything). this is good because later i can start to charge others to use it and make it into a business... sell that lot of land, and with that money buy perhaps 2/3 smaller venues and i'll already have enough computers to fill each of them... simple.
