Just because they have them, it doesn't mean they'd use them. Do you even understand what they do to the world environment? The toxic radiation is not only in the land, but in the air and atmosphere, and because the world spins.. oh I assume you could figure out the pollution does spread. There is a good reason why countries are not just shooting nukes around like nothing.

Even if it nukes weren't used right at the start I guarantee some country would use one when they feel they are starting to loss the war/to regain control or just "If I'm going down I'm taking you with me" type of attitude...

I advise you to read up on your history, USA had more or less won against Japan and they were advise that there was no need for a nuke and all of the repercussions that would happen if they were to use it but in the end they ended up using 2... ~_~
