DBAF was a fan made thing, I believe.
Also they didn't to disgrace the DB name, after GT maybe?
The manga only went up to the end of the buu saga where goku meets uub, everything after that was made for TV only and was shite.
gt was also made by fans
I quite enjoyed GT actually. :ohmy:
But then again, I was like 11 when it aired here.
GT had some good scenes, maybe 1 or 2, but SSJ4? I didn't like it. Should have stopped with the manga IMO.

Gohan pwned in DBZ, up until after Cell, damn Chi-Chi. Goku was a bit of a loser. He always let everyone else get beaten up to the point of certain death, and then own the enemy.
I think they stopped because of rectal pains. All that shouting they had to record when using the toilet.
I don't know why, maybe they pay attention to the movie more?
Tbh I never got into those cartoon animation shows although I did have 2 Pokemon cards but mostly played played marbles and Yo-Yo's.
GT imo wasn't satisfying. Gohan turned into this teacher which made him dull, I expected Trunks to become like his future self in DBZ Android series but instead came out as this techy noob, the fights weren't as furious as in DBZ, GokuSSJ4 ruined the golden hair thing.
The story was sort of bull imo. But thats me, I'm not as observant towards anime as you lot.
I was looking forward to AF but that was just an anime myth. Now their focusing on the new movie which I hope is one kick ass movie.
well, the show was coming at it's end they played gt in the u.s....so, in plain words...it ended at the final episode of gt. i miss it too :( owell get dvds!! :drinks_no:vegeta::drinks_no
You do realize Dragonball was the only one made by Akira Toriyama, Z & GT were done by other people.

Tbh i never understood why they made things go so fast with Gohan and Goten. Yeah sure, Goku wasn't there with part of their childhood... but hey, they were the freaking writers who made that up... they should have just wished Goku back and watch Gohan grow up, same with Goten. Goten was pretty fun together with Trunks, they could have done much more with that, and Goten was a lot like young Goku anyway.
GT ruined the whole DBZ saga basicly
GT basic story line = Oh noes I'm a kid, but I can now reach unprecedented levels which by coincident are enough to just beat every single foe.
At least in DBZ, the other characters stood a chance against the bosses. GT was all about Goku.
