In Belgium and in The Netherlands it isnt a holiday and nobody celibrated it because it is stupid in our eyes

Getting older, plus I really don't care for candy.
It evolved from the Druid day of the dead. The pope then had it converted to All Saints day, better known as All Hollow's Day which is one november 1st. All Hallow's Eve which is October 31st then evolved into present day Halloween.
The trick or treating comes from the Druid tradition of demanding diffrent treats from the common folk. The trick part is that if the people donated generously, they would have a wonerful life, while small/no donations meant you would be cursed.
The dressing up comes from the druid tradition of sacrificing animals to use their skin to hide. They believed the dead came to life and that to protect themelves, they must hide as animals to trick the spirits.
THATS WHAT THE COSTUMES ARE FOR!!!!!! No one will know, and who cares thats why you dress up scary, and hide out somewhere and when kids come by scare them, steal their candy and run like hell, then eat some throw it away / stash it somewhere, and if you get caught say, you were protecting them from cavitees

And if your friend came to my door step he'd of been on the recieving end of my Super Soaker, just like a few others did last night who were the same age as your friend. I'm also 20, people our age don't trick or treat....It's something for kids.

Caught me off guard. Thing was I had nothing to give em' so everytime kids went by at my door(every 5 goddamn mins) same old saying ''no sorry, got no candy''
