two suggestions...
first:
- Tools> Options (menu)
- General
- Fonts & Colors (button)
- 'Use system colors': untick
- 'Always use my': untick both
- OK
- OK
- Reload page
if that doesn't fix the problem, or you have none of those ticked, then there is a tiny extension called "Text BG Color Fixer" which will do the trick ;) (I use that myself since I have my FF at home modded to white-text-on-black-bground)

Could be a theme or extension on firefox thats made it do that. Also try re-installing firefox
anyone else noticed the merge of the tech section and this one?
I haven't installed any new extensions or themes, at least not in weeks. None of what darcantix suggested works. And I'm not going to even try a plugin to fix something that hasn't been done. I can't remember doing anything related to firefox, yet ragezone (and only ragezone) started acting weird. Yesterday I thought it's an issue with ragezone and not my system. And didn't try other browsers until today and was really surprised to see it's normal.
Also the forum language is still the same us english. I'll try something else but I don't think it works, will mention it if it did.

all works fine for me... check through your options in FF and see if its restricting any aplets / lines of code?

are you using the latest version of FF? is it a nightly build or something? or official release?
didn't have a problem on the 1.01 that was on this puter when I got here, and fine on 1.06 I'm running now too... I think it's safe to say that it's fairly specific to your setup.. :eh:
Specific to my setup?? The thing is, I didn't change anything when it started doing this, that's why I'm so stunned. Worked before going to sleep, buggy when got up. I'm just clueless and don't want to reinstall it.
Well what I mean is, no-one else has reported a similar issue, and there are many ppl here who use FF.. you say you have no extensions installed?
As for not wanting to grab the latest version from www.getfirefox.com - well, we can only make the suggestions, can't make you take them :tongue2:
I do have extensions - mouse gestures and session saver. But not any new ones lately. Yeah it really does seem like something went wrong with my settings, but this just blows my mind.

Firefox went like this for me before... but it was cause I kept watchin that video of the guy playing the ukulele like crazy over and over (racked up the memory usage of FF - a simple restart of the application fixed it)

Not really sure, never had that problem. Only problem I had w/ff and rz was it splitting up the posts a bit, but that was several ff's ago.
Ok. So now I know what the problem was. Had a new private message, the dialog asking to open it popped up, I clicked yes, that's when RZ cleared all the text, but it couldn't load up the new page cause I have popup blocking on... so it was left clean. It required closing the site and then shutting off FF to get it view again.
