Re: Why I Don't Believe in God(s)
I hate when terrible things like this happen, i nearly died when i was born and i have scoliosis and kilippelfile, even though i was born 2 weeks early.
I don't believe in god and i never will.
I only believe things when i see it.

Well supposedly, Jesus makes us die or something, when he died people were dying after him (obviously with a cause people wern't just dying straight away after his death)
And i think its right for people to die because all those bad people die and people dont want them around causing trouble.
Also, iam not saying that is true i've read about it and im not sure if its true either.

Re: Why I Don't Believe in God(s)
It is a well-known fact that religious debates are against rules, even if it's not written in the rules. Nobody cares if god exists or not, the matter of the topic is Junkee's niece died because of a cruel twist of fate. haxor and joorohoo, have you guys got no sympathy for that because you're too busy wondering if an almighty force exists?
Debate about it on MSN or something, don't start spamming this thread with your religious debates. Show some empathy for Junkee, this is a tragic time for him.

Re: Why I Don't Believe in God(s)
Sorry to hear. Not all things happen for a "reason", but there's a lesson learned, one being that life is cruel, and bad things happen, and will continue to happen. The only thing you can do is acknowledge it, react to it, and over time...move on. Remember your niece in her best days, and how she made you smile. Over thinking negative things will just bring more depression to you, and those close to you, so there is really no room for negative thoughts at this point.

I, for once, agree with Rish in part of his post and with Alphabeat.
Humans can't live without answers. Half of the questions that we had on our mind were answered by the religious, through the word "God".
Back on the earlier centuries of the "After Christ" moment , people only knew what the Church told them. They were told that an Holy power created the world , life, nature and its elements. Yet, there was a thing that opposed that way of seeing things ; Science.
Science quickly became our new way of getting new answers, and actually, the best way.
The anwsers people believe(d) is(was) a matter of faith. Yet, there's people that believe in Science and in Religion. The thing is, Religion is our heart, Science is our mind. Both can't live without each other. If one of them fails, the other one is there to help him, answering the question. It's a matter of philosophy. There's also questions that we can't seem to find an answer, which proves that there is something missing besides Religion and Science, which I believe that is our soul. Religion, our heart, Science, our mind, Life, our soul. "Why are we here?" "What's beyond death?" "Why" "Why" "WHY!"
Simple questions that can only be answered with the true equilibrium of the three states ; Religion , Science and Life. Those questions are to be answered by us. Since our birth, Religion and Science gave us the chance to live our Life as we want it. That's why Life is the last part of the puzzle. It just depends of peoples life. Science and Religion can't answer those questions, but our Life can, because we're the ones that give that answer. It's the so called life.
Wish I could add of of this to my sig

Re: Why I Don't Believe in God(s)
I came out like a month premature. I am sorry to hear this, these are really things to contemplate when you choose a religion, makes me wonder what the hell God is or does.
