Why I Went Blue

Hello everyone.

I've been getting a lot of questions as to why the sudden change of rank. Most of you thought I was demodded or quit, but I couldn't tell you why before beings authorities and a trial were involved.

Instead of re-typing everything, I'll copy/paste the post I made to the supers. After reading I believe you'll all understand why I did what I did.

Hey all, just a heads up.

I will probably be super aggressive against members in the next few weeks/months. A very close friend of mine was raped tonight. Luckily she opened up enough to tell me what happened. Not who did it, but what happened.

I know a good therapist, and she gave me permission to set up appointments with her. I'm also setting up appointments with her for me, because I need to deal with my anger. Because if I don't, and find out who did this, I will kill him.

You should probably put my mod status on hold, because I wont be thinking clearly. This is by far the most angry/upset/pissed off I've been in my entire life.

I've been a mod for 6 years, and hope to be Red someday. The last thing I want is for my anger to completely destroy that.

Who the FUCK would do this to an innocent 18 year old girl!?

So in short, one of my very good friends was raped, and I didn't want my anger to compromise how I modded on Ragezone.

But with that story is some good news.

The next day she opened up and told her parents, once that happened she told me who did it. My dad is the Director of Emergency Management here in our city so although he couldn't do anything himself in this matter, he has a lot of pull over the police force. Within 40 minutes of getting the guys name he was picked up and taken into custody.

I don't know how they got one so soon, but somehow got a hearing yesterday (Saturday) night. Instead of pleading not guilty, and drawing this whole thing out for months in a trial the bastard pled guilty, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

I did not expect this whole processes to happen so quickly, but am very happy that it did. So within 4 days of me finding out, this guy is in jail. I thought for sure it would be drug out for months, which is why I requested the mod suspension.

Now that everything is done I am back to my Green self.
