I cant do a thing off that I am sick
He means figuratively.
'Get a life' is often use in every corner of the internet, from IRC to MMORPGs to forum boards. It implies that a member is doing something unnecessary, repetitively, and needs to find something better do,; hence 'get a life'.
But, you already knew that, didn't you? You just couldn't think of anything else to say that would act as an aspersion, without looking as foolish as he.
It's not that i couldn't think of anything to say it was just unnecessary. My posting that didn't hurt anyone and it wasn't spam as this is the postaholics section. As a mod i would think you would know this and just ignore it but yet you call attention to it and poke it even further.
'Trolling'. I guess the phrase could be turned either way.
It seems, whenever I make a comment about Grasna's reply, you are here, attempting to save the day.
No Mr. Vendaku, I'm not trolling. I'm just critical.
If I was trolling Grasna, I'd do something along the lines of entering the Picture Album Thread and making 20 posts such as "Wow Grasna, your 50th picture and I still can't gather what you actually look like. Please please most more pics! I'm dying to actually comprehend what you look like". But alas, I have not.
Again, there is a line, albeit fine, between trolling and having a critical personality.
@ Grasna:
I seriously think the term 'retard' could be considered unnecessary and could possibly offend,
All because I'm a mod doesn't mean I'm stripped of my opinion. I'd rather be IP banned than not be able to voice my opinion on an open discussion board on an un-monitored service such as the internet.
I suppose that's subjective. Alright, let me rephrase. Being "OVERLY" critical = Trolling because obviously, we both know you're asking for trouble when exerting blatant criticism on another person. Is it necessary? Not always, especially in this situation when she merely posted definitions. Nothing major.
Now that I think about my room is as cold as a whores heart.
Ayye, compared to a lot of members including her with her remark 'retard', I put it quite elequently.
I called her foolish because:
She repleid to the post, returning the slanderous remarks.
She attempted to make a pretty well-defined example and explanation, but it wasn't as 'well-defined' as she expected.
I really don't think I can say much more on the matter, merely because I've said everything to be said...
