Western bias is but ridiculous when it comes to conflicts involving Russia.
But this is kind of paradoxical, western world recognised Kosovo's independence, yet they refuse to recognise South Ossetia's independance. Guess the US military bases in Kosovo make all the difference.
As for the overreacting DTB mentioned, no, Russia did not overreact. Had Russia overreacted, there would be only one Georgia left, the U.S. state.
im from Kosovo, and history states clearly that our independence was ment to be declared 50 years ago and reunite with Albania but because of Serb government control (Former Yugoslavia), it was given to Serbia, now it's a country.. My country :D fuckin serbs

It was a part of Serbia since the 1100's...
If people in Kosovo learned to live together it would be a different story. But no...NATO had to get involved and pretty much hand the province over to the Albanians.
Too bad the Russians didn't get directly involved when Kosovo was invaded...other than supplying the army.
I am Serbian...but unlike you I clearly don't show the hate that you do...even though I was pretty much kicked out of my home in Kosovo. It's those kind of attitudes on both sides that caused this retarded mess.
With the Georgian situation...I hope that Russia keeps it's presence there tbh, just because US is condemning their actions, which is by far the most hypocritical shit ever. The Georgian president was kissing so much ass...and pretty much begging the US to interfere.
