It was Vista that had all the compatibility issues.

Also paint isn't advanced, its just same paint with everything moved about with shapes
Been using windows 7 since February, though i don't notice much difference in terms of performance or compatibility compared to vista for my machines, only thing that I've seen improvements for is the memory usage, it dropped a few hundred mb from vista (possibly why others feel as if their machine is faster)

Thats a huge drop AJ. Nice scenic background. :D
My aunt just bought me a laptop with windows 7. I should be testing it out, :D
I'm only getting Home, is their any real difference between it and Ultimate?
Other than XP Compatibility Mode, there's also Virtual XP Mode for Professional and Ultimate.
Don't forget being able to use XP Mode!
I got Windows 7 Ultimate Signature Edition a couple days before the launch lol.
Then, i got a new computer, and upgraded it to Ultimate.
I like the HP Theme...but sadly my processor doesn't have Intel VT. So...guess I'll have to upgrade to the P8700...
Yea i dont really care about the language thing, just interested in its performance + quality.
i got a laptop with Windows 7 Enterprise before it got launched, in September
Our school had special privileges with Acer,
At my class every student gets a laptop lol.
I bought vista when it came out and it performed like shit on my pc. Well, only for games and stuff but the fancy gfx didn't compensate for the performance and even when I disabled that shit theme the performance was a lot worse than on xp.
However, when I installed windows 7 ultimate beta in January or Feb, it ran a lot faster (even with all the aero shit turned on). Now with RTM stuff seems to run even faster than the beta, which I downloaded illegally as a compensation for buying vista.

My laptop just arrived. My experience with w7 is rather somewhat, delightful. :D
haha. nice what laptop?
my experience is good with it too.
however, since I got it from HP, I hate how they have to put all these useless programs into it.
But when I try to uninstall some, I feel like I'm going to use it sometime. which happened on my desktop Pc.
Otherwise, I'm glad I got my laptop, it's fast and it can run Call of Duty 6 pretty well.
