Well I've just come back from my Work Experience placement (basically I work for a week somewhere without pay, just for the learning experience) and it was great. The guys in the computer repair shop where I'm working at are very chilled out and relaxed and take Mondays easy and only do a half-day Tuesday. We sat and did some work on a couple of Hard Drives while in between times watching movies and eating an Indian takeaway.
Best work placement ever.

I remember I was placed at a Food Lab, where they'd test foods from Iceland, Tesco, etc for ecoli, etc.
We were sent a strawberry cake before, and it was covered in ants, even though it was still in the packaging.
Anywhoo, n1 on the good placement, I know a lot of people who get shit placements...

I dunno when mine is but... i dont wanna work in a supermarket or someshit.
you can usually, but sometimes the placement gets filled quickly and you have to go elsewhere
LMFAO I did my work experience as a caretaker, got told to go and hide for the day, and that was almost everyday, ofcourse that meant go for a smoke.

Aye. Most schools tell you to go and get a self-found placement but my school were generous enough to also offer placements in Linwood, Johnstone, Paisley and that general area.
Mine was awesome, I went to do accounting, but before you get all stereotypical I was working with the two hottest women ever, they were early twenties and sooo fine and apart from that bonus they always went and got little treats from bakerys and I got paid :P.

Pretty easy day, did a virus scan on someone's laptop, backed up about 1.5GB of data and formated someone's PC.
