Partially wrong... if you enjoy the job, you wouldn't mind the pay.

    Re: Working Part Time?

While obviously there will be times in life where you have to accept a job regardless if you like it due to money, the best way is to just have a proper education and get a job you like.

Obviously, being Dutch I have the priviledge of being in a proper system where I can actually live on my own in a nice place, buy stuff, go to college and not even need to get a job, but still, even if it's tough to get it done. You can't spend the rest of your life in jobs you don't like.

I will be a social/support worker by next year, now as everybody knows, those kind of jobs pay crap, but unlike most people, I enjoy doing the work, I feel like I'm not wasting my time, and that's worth more then the extra cash.

You're supposed to hate your first part time jobs, so you can motivate yourself to work harder and earn better jobs.

I highly doubt you need a "Baccalaureate" to work at a fast food place or a grocery store.

    Re: Working Part Time?

I got 2 part time jobs and going full time college.

Not that i can't afford college or anything like that... but since I moved 20miles away from the main city... going to college is a pain in the ass when your car only takes premium fuel... Thats like 1.10$/litter minimum plus bills and all that nice crap. So ya...

    Re: Working Part Time?

For some reason, it worries me that you start a thread about working with toddlers, and on the same page there is another thread of you not being able to control your masturbation needs. I'm just saying.
