1) if you hit the speed of light your a string with exactly 0 thickness meaning if you go faster then you would be a string with - thickness
2.) when you hit the speed of light you weigh exactly an ifinite amount of kilo's now imagine if you go faster then the speed of light
3.) my opinion in time traveling is that if you go faster then the speed of light that you will be de-aging and not go back in time
that's amazing
you could change things in the past but it wouldn't make a difference because you would have already done it. so basically fuck around all you like no-ones gonna notice because everytime you did something every single person who has or ever will be has had their mind altered to include your actions.
Really intresting.
All i can say =o

very interesting read, im gonna keep an eye on this
There once was a lady named Bright
Who travelled much faster than light.
She departed one day in a relative way
And came home on the previous night.

This was a quality programme i watched it when it was first on. supposedly the machine only allows you to send stuff back in time to when the first time machne was activated.
so sending something now would arrive when the time machine was first activated.
doesn't the the thing use lasers or something to work?
You all are so wise, But time machine is a dangerous thing... :(
yes, the same heat as the sun.Quote:

That someware in the univurs theirs a bend where u can see the earth from back a certain amount of time..
Or it was if u get to the end u see the earty back in time i dun remeber
wouldn't that create such heat it would kill anyone in like 1000000000miles of the distance it was used?Quote:

how will you ever know if somebody does travel back in time? and how will they get back!! - That's the real question.
Take a watch , lol :P
It's been known that if you travel faster than the speed of light you go back intime ( Seeing light that was made billions of years ago and is still traveling )
its all einsteins theory
if u travel at a certain speed in the atmosphere u can go fast enough to nock off a couple of miliseconds but a if say a year or so? thats goin to take alot of development to happen
There's light coming from earth. It's very weak compared to the light from the stars, but if you really were on the other side of the galaxy (Or a couple of lightyears away, doesnt really matter), AND you're able to see the light from earth in detail from a great distance, you would see the light from earth which was 'created' on earth that many years ago (Light you see = how many lightyears you are away from the object). So if you were a hundred light years away from earth, you would be able to 'see' a hundred years back in time, because you see the light from earth from a hundred years ago (If you get what I mean,).Quote:

Science & Technology from Scientific American.com: Special Editions - A Matter of Time <-- Includes an article: "How to Build a Time Machine" by Paul Davies.
If I had a scanner & knew that someone woulbd read it I would scan it but I don't so NoPeace's post will do. Although I don't know what he's on about "China's public display of Cold Fusion" bit tbh
Somethings are hard to believe, like the time they said they found a \"real\" frozen dragon.
