That's time dilation and it wont affect what's inside the vehicle travelling at the speed of light but whatever is watching from the outside will see it as stopped. So kinda would travel in time if if 1 second inside the vehicle = infinity outside...but that's impossible :P + to travel at the speed of light your mass would become infinate (even more than vanessa feltz) thus requiring an infinate amount of energy to accelerate you to this speed :P.Originally Posted by NoPeace

Anyway, if you want to see into the past, just look up into the sky. The rays from the sun left it 6min ago, the rays from stars leave thousands of years ago.
The whole wormhole thing could be intresting, if you went 2006light years away instantly you could see jesus being born etc. Anything more than that isnt going to happen.
If time travel existed my theory on it would be there are an infinate amount of universes where every decision could of been a yes and a no each will of happened (quantum particles etc aswell). If you go back in time you create a new dimension, the one you came from still exists however you can never go back to it. The new one will be exactly the same as your original one until you actualy do something, ie steping on a bug. This is only for back in time, forward you would stay on the same timeline.
Imo the next form of space travel will be plasma rockets and will start in space rather than having to send it all up at once using boosters. Anyone who things wormholes will work are barking up the wrong tree, to make them work you need MASSIVE masses, like the weight of stars. Then your gonna try send people thought it? i dont think so lol. Then their is no targeting system to start with so you could end up anywhere with anouther high mass, so you could end up making a wormhole into a star anyway.
Ohh and mental is was probly hoter than the sun, we have created alot higher temps in labs, and quite possibly the coldest temp in the universe aswell.

There are already theories of multiple dimensions and multiple universes explained via string and chaos theorem. Yet the possiblity of finding a dimension or universe that is completely different could be low considering that an alternate dimension or universe may have the single difference being that a leaf fell on the right of that stain instead of the left.
This also creates the theory that there are possible dimensions of things that have been created e.g. a dimension that was created from a book or film, this could mean that our dimension aswell may not be an original but a creation of another society.
Time travel may be possible but the effects on the time line is unknown, many theorists say that time cannot be effected majorly by human interference and others say that the smallest change could disrupt the time line.

There is nothing to prove god exists.
Time travel however is rooted in the 4th/5th dimension, it is possible.

Yet, I think this show was more of a discussion about the possibility of time travel and the concept that it might be possibly using this theory.
I think the first discovery of this effect was made after a jet pilot looked at his watch after a mission and noticed that it wasn't precise.

actually its maybe even better, as we can travel or communicate with the future, we can get them to help us get the machine modified so we can travel back in time farther then the creation of the machine :P.......... some way.
