Here in Grande Britannia you can get charged for attacking the robber first, even if you feel your life is in danger and you're defending your property. You have to be hit first before you could use physical retaliation. However if it were to happen to me, I'd simply show myself. If someone comes in front of my house it's fine i can't do anything i can call for police to take him off, but at least if even your leg crosses the foot threshold of my door and you try invade into my home i can take a chainsaw and cut your fucking leg off.
