I see no conviction...
Like a year ago this guy from television got the police on his doorstep, they wanted to search his computer, he could have denied this but allowed it as he had nothing to hide, the police searched it and found childpornography in his recycle bin, so soon the whole country called him a pedophile, was fired from his job etc etc. In the end he was found innocent. He says that while he was downloading things for his work those pics were among them, we are talking about a few pictures that were already deleted and he let the police check his PC, people with some common sense would realize he's not a pedo, yet people still call him that.
So you see, even though there can be some hard evidence, someone is still not a pedo. In this case all you got is some member claiming something, how do you know the pic is real, how do you know the girl is 15, how do you know that he knew how old she was etc etc.

the law's gone batshit crazy about sex offenders - my mum interviewed a guy for a job and he had to tell her that he was on the sex offenders list; when she asked why, he said that when he was 19 or so, he got very drunk and took a piss, got booked and was made to sign the sex offenders list for indecent exposure oO

it's kind of different when a picture turns up on the hard drive of an under age girl of your penis with her name written on it. And hey, maybe she isn't a 15 year old girl. But that's certainly what he thought she was. How do I know? I don't, but it seems pretty fucking likely. Plus it doesn't detract from the fact that his comics are truly dismal pieces of work.

In the US it's really crazy, in atleast some states neighborhoods are informed when a sex offender comes to live there, but they never say why they are a sex offender, so you got people who got a prostitute or a professor who slept with a college student, which is both "wrong", but they hardly deserve to be in the same category as a rapist or a pedophile.

Honestly with 14/15 year old females ending up on sex offenders lists, can you really show prejudice against people on the list any more? Yeah some might be real pedos/rapists, but it sounds like a good proportion just get slapped with it anyway.
So he *might* have sent a pic of himself to someone online. Did he know how old she was? Probably not! It's pretty easy for anyone to get nude pics online, just find some hot pics online and say they are you. Now surprising younger people do it, it's a power kick being able to control older guys. And yeah, it has no baring on a (brilliant) comic. If you don't like it, fine, but there's no need being a dick about it to everyone else.

I think ragezone is the wrong place to ask, if its for rageparty and we'll be out in the town most of the time. I think the response might be a bit low. For people on ragezone though, most of us recognised the art style instantly. I'm guessing your asking us to see if this would be a big hit, I'm going to say no but honestly who cares what others think :P?

But you appreciate everyone you get so much more! Seriously everyone recognises a Buzz Lightyear, but when some guy went up to Paul and was detailing all about what type of Spiderman he was, I was like totally taken aback. I think everyone who does recognise who players 1-4 will be the people who are our type of people anyway!

i dont care if people in town dont recognise me, so long as those coming to rageparteh would know :P
