bcuz i see here in rz alot of skilled graphical ppl and programmers and all those people...i dont know wut im going with this.. but i think that would be awesome. :popcom:

I would be willing to contribute my 3d abilities. However, this would be the.. 4th time? I have tried to collaborate something with a forum, a game, and we had gotten some rough sketches, storyline; the whole shabang. Yet nothing was yielded, so if this is going to happen, I want some promise as in THERE WILL BE A PROJECT; I'm tired of dicking around.

To write a MMORPG with a team who know what they are doing would take I think about 18 Months tops - this is programming from scratch like. Remember though we have the source code already from a few MMORPG's so some of the work is already done in that respect.

Question is though - 2D or 3D - hmmmmm

for beta it could be 2d, but then later on the game could be 3d so it would attract alot of ppl bcuz of the "sudden graphics update" But i suggest 3d :D!

This is a gopod thread but really man i dont think people would do this over the internet. Remeber we are all in different countrys unless you make a room full of computers and we all go into that country and everyday we start programming the game and making the graphics. Itw ould be nice but its a long shot.

well, maybe instead of trying to make a whole new game, maybe just a MOD of some other games, and make a LOT of drastic changes to it, I'm just suggesting this because it seems a bit more realistic, because as Hybr!d said, it's really hard to get things done when all the wokers are like in a whole diff country. But im not saying ti is impossible, im just trying to be more realistic. (but i would like to see this happen)
