WoW is Evil

Some guy killed himself after playing it 36hours straight....
He left a suicide note saying he wanted to join the angels he played the game with.

It makes me sick!

i'm sure hes not the only person who uses the internet, so cancelling the internet would be stupid... and nobody actually has "subscriptions" here, everyone just buys game cards (and you can buy them from virtually any shop)

Wow.. I remember playing WoW. I THOUGHT I was addicted because I played for 4 hours non-stop sometimes. I guess some people actually do stay on for 14-16 hours without sleep.


I guess the problem with me, though, is that WoW was not exciting to play. They ruined the game and I have a narcissistic need to kill everything(I use cheat-codes in most games :P). But then again it could be that I'm just annoyed when the damn game freezes up on my 2 year old video card. Damn technology growing rapidly *ramble on*


His parents should make the game seem more boring than ANYTHING else. They should somehow make biking fun or something. When I figured out WoW was boring for me, I stopped doing raids and just leveled characters solo. It allowed me to get up whenever I wanted to do whatever.

Now I play Guildwars because it's much easier to solo and get up whenever you want to leave somewhere. I play computer maybe like 2 hours a day...oddly I spend 2-3 hours surfing the web and such. Either that or typing out reports and thesis's.. damn thesis's..

I thought I should add my 2 cents after I already posted like 5 minutes ago anyways. The whole "WoW is TOO addicting" thing is crap. I could easily get off the damn game. A game is not addicting like a drug, so don't compare the two.

And I like a few GreenDay songs damnit, I'm not emo! Although I do think about cutting myself in the shower sometimes....with a RAZOR! When I shave and accidentally cut my face!...although I shave in front of a mirror, I had to make it sound dramatic to throw you off cue.

I'm only 29% addicted cause I lied on like three of the questions..I should have put no but I didnt want to be 10% addicted!...must be somewhat addicted to a game I quit about...last year.

I don't think I've ever been that addicted to a game or the internet I usually go on about afternoon time and stay on for like no more than 6 hours. games probably a couple of hours, I've only done more than that not many times. Also I would never exchange personal life tasks or fun for virtual reality. Virtual always came last.

What that mother needs to do if it upsets her that much is to just literally pull the plug. Oo
