It's just another money-grabbing scheme, You'll ask "What came first, The chicken or the egg?" and get an answer like "How should i know?" not realising that they have just charged you £5 for sending and another £3 for receiving the text.

For UK ppl: Dial 2580, Point it at a music source (playing a tune you wanna know the name of/who does it) for 30secs & you'll get a txt back telling who does the song and what it's called. Cost 50p.
If it can't identify the tune it costs 5p.

Never listened to them radio shows where they go on for an full 1+ hour mix with no DJ saying this track is this blah blah.
You can't download it if you don't know the name of the track. & many times with me (or used to be, haven't used it in MONTHS!) it's a remix of the original track. & as there can be many remixes of a single track, I wanna find out WHICH one it is rather than waste time downloading 10 or so odd tracks that ain't what I'm looking for.
& from what you have typed, "wait till the tracks finished, see what it's called on TV", I assume you're typing about music channels like MTV etc. Well I don't have the (un)pleasure of recieving sattellite channels in my flat. Some ppl aren't rich.
Also, there are some song titles that I just can't spell, e.g. an Outlandish track called "Guantanamo". I'm sorry but the DJ on the radio can say that as many times as he likes, I'm never gonna be able to spell that track name right. (ty to copy/paste)
