I've been with Tiscali for 2 years. They were okay for me. The "worst" fowl up they ever did was to accidently upped my speed from 256k to something like 1.5meg for a week.

But UK Online! God Damn! >.< Having a Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) was supposed to make transfering ISPs quick and easy ("They" said). Nope. Not in this sad little fucking case. The new connection date they've estimated is the 29th Sept. Forty-fucking-one days after I originally signed up (and its only supposed to take 15 working days = 21 days). Retards. But maybe I shouldn't be so condeming of UK Online. I mean, it only took 3 or 4 phone calls and a week and a half for them to finally tell me that the full explantion for the delay was because of problems at the BT exchange. Go and blame BT not us. Hmm... :g:

Still waiting. Amoeba could flip the "change ISP" switch quicker.

Oh. And they've already charged us the monthly fee. For a month where they haven't even connected me yet for? Fuck that.

yeah i am on ukonline now waited a month for my line to clear but was worth it... ukonline are like the best broadband company in the uk havnt had any problems with in this year and have only made 3-4 phone calles to them :P

recommend them tho ^^

btw u can just phone the billing area and they will refund ur money
