they r all limited , they even reduced the engine's from v10 to v8 because of new rule's and they only have about 3 liter engine's so they could get extreem high rpm's and get there hp out of that
if there wouldent be 99999 rule's in f1 then they could make cars that would be able to go much faster then that bugati

there are so many rules in f1, thats why its so boring. cars arnt allowed to be turbo/supercharged either. that will take away loads of power

all with 2 or 3 liter engine's , now some of them have over 1000 hp , there was even 1 on a testbank who did 1400 +
but when they tested it on a track they cant make it go faster then 340 / 350 km/h
u need to be able to ceep an extreme amount of torgue to get from 300 to 400 km/h and such a 2 or 3 L engine just cant preduce that
unless it's 1 those f1 type engine where they can push the rpm's upto 18 000
The reason why those cars won't just make it to 400 km/h is not the engine, but the chassis.
Any car that wants to go that fast needs huge aerodynamic considerations, and every single thing about the car must be geared for those ultra-high speeds. This is something even the most highly modified Skyline can't ever do.
Not to mention that IF they'd reach such a speed, they'd become very unstable, for the same aerodynamic reasons.
And an F1 engine isn't that powerful at all. Current spec F1 Engines will never reach over 800hp, so they really aren't that great. The reason they go so incredibly high on RPMs (they've been limited to 19.000RPM, whereas 22.000 or higher would've been possible by now), is that they don't have any options. The engine size is set, and forced induction is not allowed.
The Old V10 Engines managed 1000hp, still without forced induction.
The reason F1 cars go so fast with it is because they're so incredibly light; minimum weight, by regulation, is 605kg, and that's including driver.
Bugatti are offering an even better deal on the new Veyron GT lol :)

But, they are true.. The Bugatti is a nice car, but at 1 million your paying for a brand name. Yes, it is fast, but if you took a million dollars and replicated what they made, youd notice it probably only costs around $400k-$500k total to produce it. But, of course they need the money to make more.. and as long as its a 'best of the best' as far as class and brand names go.. rich people will buy it.
And I coudl also guarentee, that if you would sink a million into askyline, or retrofit an Evo with a million dollars worth of upgrades and engineering.. you woudl far surpass whatever the Veyron could get for speed. Not talkign about makign them road legal also btw ;)

the veyron looks better and is suppost to be more comfortable, the other one is just pure speed. the new veryon is like a normal car but real fast and expensive
Sure if you had a million purely for components. But then how would you know what to do?
A lot of that million will be in research costs, like making body work that looks nice and is aerodynamic or getting a light enough engine. Realising they need so many radiators :p
Sure you could spend 1mill on a skyline but it'll most likely take off at high speeds or just crash :p
Actually the SSC is a luxury car too, with leather/suede interior and a complete multimedia system with 10 speakers.
I suppose the Veyron still does better in that department though, but that's one of the reasons the Veyron dislikes actually turning :punch:
