Yeah I know theres something wrong with me. Anything that I feel is wrong I never take out to the open. I never want to deal with anything in life. But thats who I am... And, its not school in particular. School is just what it is. Its the thing that takes away my freedom. No matter what it would be, it would still be bad. I see it as just something that gives you two options. A) Work your ass off all day and night. B) Dont, and fuck your life up and dissapoint everyone you ever loved or cared about. If i dont do what I need to do (work 3/4 of my life) I will disapoint many people and thats one thing I simply cannot stand. I have to finish a project now and its only 7 PM. I got home at 6 PM. After that project I have to study for a test, so no more PC for me tonight. Moreover, this is the best I could ask for on a weekday. On weekends I sit in front of my pc, and sometimes wonder why the hell its always either PC or school. Theres something wrong with the way I run my life, but im not to blame, its my parents who chose to lead this kind of life. I cant stay in one continent for over 3 years without moving. I was here in toronto for 6 months and all I have known is school and computer. I guess maybe I just say that school makes me feel depressed, but it might just be a "mask". I dont know - or care - anymore.

RsX, mate, things seem bad now but just you wait. For many people school was the best years of their lives, mine included. I've met the majority of my friends through school and have had experiences I'll never forget - these are the people I grew up with and they taught me how to love and learn. I understand things are different for you as you've moved around a lot but think about the good times you've had. Sure school can be a bitch sometimes and you don't want to do the work (believe me, I hate it too, but there are worse things that can happen). Thing is, you don't have to. Do what makes you happy - life is too short to be doing things that you don't enjoy.
No matter how seemingly bad things get for me I just stop and think about what I have. A year or so ago I was speaking to a close friend of mine (who's parents are millionaires) just before his 18th birthday, and I said to him;
'Chris, what do you want for your 18th? You can ask for something totally outrageous if you want to.'
'I don't want anything at all.'
'What? You're so rich you could have anything!'
'I can still walk, talk and enjoy things - think about all the scary shit that can happen to you in the world. Kids dying in car crashes, people having arms and legs amputated through horrible accidents and murder. Sam, I'm just happy to be alive and truthfully, I've got everything I need right here and now.'
That conversation stuck with me, and you know what? He was absolutely right. You have enough food to eat, access to medicine, a place to sleep, a fucking computer and clothes on your back. We all have so much to be thankful for that quite frankly, school is a godsend to some people. Besides, you only have to go to school until you're 18 (in the UK at least) and then the rest of your life is up to you, to do what you want.
Think about it mate, it's never as bad as it seems.
RsX bro. I know how you feel. Every 4 years my parents always fail to stay in the same place and move because of a new, better job offer or some shit. It's ridiculous. I've moved so many times. Had to make new friends. Had to goto new schools every damn time i moved. I eventually quit. But that's really not the way to go is it? A good friend of mine keeps telling me. "Just get it over with man. Think of how good you'll feel when it's all done and you can do whatever you want with your life afterwards. It's a few years of torture and hardwork. But it's worth it in the end."
And he's absolutley right. RsX. You don't wanna end up in my current position right now. Trust me. I'm 18 in 12 days. I'm half done grade 10 because i just gave up and i found out i was moving again. Now i'm sitting here without an education. Day on day thinking about what i'm gonna do with my life. Lost as anyone could ever be. You don't want that to happen to you. Seriously. I have no damn idea what i am gonna do, and no particular interest in anything not to mention no motivation =/. So do yourself a big favour and stick in school. No matter what the cost. It may irritate you to hell everyday but....dream of the day it's over.
