Anyone working with the leaked versions of Black Desert knows that most of its configuration is done with excel spreadsheets. This often has you running to acquire a copy of excel so you can modify them. To address this need I have created Acuity.
Acuity is an Excel 2019 clone that does what Excel does not do: It has a built-in ability to translate text to another language.
With Acuity you do not need to edit spreadsheets with Excel. It does everything Excel does with the added translation function.
Acuity is not a commercial product and never will be sold by me. I did not create it for profit, but for my own use in easing the problem of translating text in spreadsheets that are not written the only language I use - English. I do not like bouncing back and forth between Excel and Google Translate to figure out what a particular column value is. I am sharing now it with you.
Translation.
in the ribbon you see what the current translation source and target languages are. You can click the "Setup Translation" button to change them.
Translation is triggered by selecting one or more cells and clicking the Translation popup menu or simply hitting "Ctrl-T". Like Excel, Acuity fully supports multiple, separated selections.
