Not yet. I found the updateDBSS.cmd works fine in the CorsairLogin directory. But in the corsair_field directory the BlackDesert64.exe has a problem and won't run - neither the 64 bit or 32 bit versions do. The updatePAZ breaks in either directory so no love there.
I am hoping some good samaritan that can actually do this update will post the updated PAZ files for those of us that can't.
thanks for the complement on the log viewer. I got sick of messing with google translate on those log files and being .json I could clean up their presentation a lot.
In the meantime I will keep seeing if I can work around that unicode issues with the extracted server data. Beyond the file names, the contents have issues too.
AI doesn't work in this version either
@lollipopboy9
what? monsters dont attack? can u confirm this ????? cuz i am downloading it and still havent played yet.
the reaction of AI is dependent on server hardware / configuration. AI works just fine if the server has enough resources to process it.
@lollipopboy9 @doodad
Thank you guys
I have no problem with AI and monsters not attacking. I am also running very close to the required configuration within a VM.
Its not problem with files. Default settings set to very low threads,like 30-2-2-5-100,which is not enough at all. Its make a server stagger too much. Most of the lags and freezes comes because you simple not have enough threads. Just set them to like 30-30-30-3-100-1-12 and you will see very different picture. Honestly before this change it was hardly playeble at all,but after adding more threads its start working as it should.
Its not that hard,actually. Look for server type 4. Type 4 - is field server(0 is all servers,2 is auth,3 is machine manager,4 is field,5 is voice and 7 is eac).
You need to check numeric00 to numeric 06.Make sure to edit only value with server type 4 and index value of 0. Don't touch anything else with index value >0.
0 //! 00: Demultiplex Thread Count (1 or more), 01: Must Thread Count (0 ignore), 02: Can Thread Count (0 ignore), 03: Thread termination attempts (1 or more), 04: Can queue size (1) More than)
So numeric00 - is demultiplex
numeric01 - must thread.
And etc.
Basicly you better to set numeric00 to numeric02 to high value and better to not set numeric03 anything high.
Also its a good idea to look for dev notes,since they actually helpfull to find out,which is collomn for.
Me was download from 1st post huge archive ~170Gb.
Inside me seen 3 archives: client ~44Gb and two variants of servers ~64Gb and ~68Gb, what of two it me must use? and what difference between it's?
