as far as I know depot 582661 is their test server and to be able to download this client you need to be registered on their test server, right?

I did not need any registration anywhere, just grabbed BDO on steam during sale and that was enough to download all i needed.

I have no idea why but i too can't download it from steam - give this:
Depot 582661 (Black Desert Online Test) is not available from this account.
And yes,i have bdo on my account. If someone can please upload it,so people who can't download it have chance to get it too. Thank you.

1. Auth.cmd (it auto closes)
2. Manager.cmd (it auto closes)

Try to run Auth from cmd window and check for errors. Also check if you have iis or other webserver running,since auth use port 80,so if you have anything else on this port auth won't work.

Anybody interested, here is the memory and processor use of THIS server fully-configured server setup in a Hyper-V VM:



Max mem size needed is 221GB (swapfile is 265GB)
CPU on idle is 16% - not so bad. It does get very CPU intensive - maxing all 16 of those cores at points when starting up.
The physical memory I set for this VM is 196GB.

I would share this one, but it will absolutely NOT run on a 64GB system and it is huge.

if U so reach for SSD U can run it at 1Gb, for hardest and fastest killing SSD.

Minimal RAM 148Gb only for servers without OS and other, plz read tread it's not so long...

Do not leak anything else for the near ( and possibly far) future as Pearl Abyss has ramped up their password encryption as a response to recent leaks. Doing so will make it virtually impossible for further internal assets to be leaked and will most likely kill the private server scene.
