You did the test with an asd file on the client?


Definitely that was it! It's encoded inside the provided language files, fortunately I had the "languages pack" original for this version so I just replaced the ones inside the client folder and now I got the default message at startup "please be warned that this game contains..."

Anyway thanks for the help man appreciated!

Is there no longer Archer client link? I need the client!

How to add an item from a SQL database to another that does not have said item, is there a tutorial for this, for example, thanks in advance

if someone won't upload the server and the client files to mega.nz we'll never achieve those files: google drive downloads don't work in any way and we'll never be happy with that, simple as cake...

Here It might be an older source idk... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I have these files for some time in my archives on my server, here you go people... It says it's archer 223 compiled + the source for the server. It is working, but i dont know any other details from this. I got this from discord back in a few years for now, but IDK where from exactly anymore. All that matters that this its'working. It has source afaik in odore folder but other thant this you are on your own... The client is as it is. It has some random fixes for stuffs in txt files it is not my work. At all. Credit goes to whoever made this... I cannot help with this i just have this files, maybe some other people with more experience can do with this something :D

Some tools (Don't ask) in one place:

The File's been compressed with winrar 5.xx and it NEEDS ALL 8 PART FILES.
Put them in one folder, and start and extract with Winrar the part1 file.
The others will be automaticly extracted when needed.

thanks for the uplod!

now, i've setted the java stuff and all that jazz, but after i start the 3 bats files every time i start the launchserver executable it crash on desktop instead of running and i don't know why... any idea to fix it?

Alright,

I went through all 46 pages of this thread before posting

My game closes after i select a server
I can create accounts fine, all three bat files runs successfully without issues

I have tried deleting the /data/ folder

I'm running jdk 16 my path is set for java home and java exe
My system language is English (United States)

Tried firewall off and antivirus off

I have opened port 8888, 8889

This is the log from the loginserver on crash

18:47:52.911 ERROR - [UNKNOWN PACKET] : received 0xcc9, state=CONNECTED from Unknown
18:47:52.912 ERROR - Packet wasn't found so... closing.. or not?


I've tried changing all the ip settings multiple times from localhost to my ipv4, through the files itself and through the server configurator application to no avail.


As suggested by one user currently it's this:


network.properties:
network.rmi.host = 0.0.0.0
network.host = 0.0.0.0

login.properties:
login.autoregistration.accounts = true

network.properties:
network.rmi.host = 0.0.0.0

server.properties:
server.ip = 127.0.0.1

Client: 127.0.0.1

Using either ipv4 and localhost lets me log in to the game and it creates my account
But still crashes on server select


I can connect to the database using localhost:27714
User is created in navicat as admin with access
user : adminNemesisLedie12345p
pass : 12345p


PC Specs:

I'm running an R5 3600 6 core CPU
GTX 3080
32GB RAM/ 40GB PageFile


Other users just needed to redownload the client but

I have reinstalled the server/client at least 4 times each
and this issue always happens

Is there any other setting that I'm missing ?

I have tried another repack of the client and I believe it's something to do with my database setup

Do not open port for Database server

open port 8888 <- Login Port (forward on router to LAN IP)
open port 9965 <- game server port (forward on router to LAN IP)



Remember to add this port in FIREWALL

I appreciate the help

I've followed changes the ports and allowed it in firewall and my router
also removed the database port forward

The issue still persist, however now I see "now processing" before the game crashes
And I don't get the unknown packet in the server window

I'm going to wipe my server and start from the beginning and trying to have those ports instead
let's see how it goes

Fixed the issue
Set everything to localhost
and 8888 login with 8889 gameserver
forwarded both
