Official Files Tutorial - How to Update Dbss from Corsair Version

First you will go to the folder: CorsairFieldClear and you will copy your folder ''GammeCommonDataUnpack''


Second: You go to your CorsairClientTool folder and open the ''GammeCommonDataUnpack'' folder and delete the following files; The ''DataSheets'' folder and the two files named ''SearchMyFiles.cfg'' and ''SearchMyFiles.exe''

Third: Copy the GammeCommonDataUnpack folder from CorsairFieldClear to CorsairClientTool.

Fourth: Now you will go back to the CorsairClientTool home folder and double click on the cmd file called: updatedbss.cmd

Fifth: It will open a window as if you were literally opening the client. Don't click on anything, neither mouse button nor keyboard button, just wait for it to close by itself

Sixth: After closing the supposed ''Client''. A ''Success'' message will appear in the cmd you opened, if success appears, great, close it.If any other errors appear, the problem is with your excel files.

Seventh: Now you go to the following folder: CorsairClientTool\GameCommonData\binary

Inside the binary folder you will find all the dbss files you have updated.

REMEMBER, you cannot copy all dbss directly to your client, you should focus on getting only the ones you have updated. In case to fix selling items to npcs, you will get all dbss called: item

Eighth: you will extract the meta-injector of the corsair version inside your client folder called ''Paz''. It must be like in the image below.



Ninth: After extracting the meta-injector as shown in the image above. You will now go inside the folder: ''Files_to_patch''And it will create this folder sequence: GameCommonData and inside the gamecommondata you will create the folder called binary.

Tenth: You will copy the dbss files you modified into the binary folder.Remembering; Cannot copy all dbss files, only the ones you modified

Eleven: After copying the dbss files to the binary folder, you will open your meta-injector and select the option '' 3 - Restore backup'' and the option '' 1'' wich is the backup avaible

Twelfth: After restoring and selecting the recommended restore option you will run the injector normally.

In my case CorsairClientTool is the tool for updating paz files and dbss files.In your case, rescan your files. It can be named: CorsairClient
The struct should be like this:

In this case you should check the dbss that were last modified.Select the option: Date Modified.If still no dbss was modified, try to check if you really deleted the old datasheets from CorsairClientTool and used the datasheets from CorsairFieldClear

That looks like my CorsairField (Your CorsairFieldClear)directory. If that is the case I am copying my GameCommonDataUnpack to the same folder that contains it. Most of us have already verified that updatedbss.cmd and updatePAZ.cmd does not run in this directory (for uodatedbss.cmd appears to be a problem with the BlackDesert64.exe making errors. For upodatePAZ, a codepage problem with content).

I have only one question.
Where do i get that updated Meta Injector, cause the only two i find is a 2.0 e a very old one and the 1.4.1. The paz.py script generates paz files but the client crashes with those.

The problems you're facing with strange file names TheSourcerer, you can even delete those files, since they are not really needed.... you can know which files are causing those problems by just deleting the paz folder and let the updatepaz run, it will tell wich files are wrong and you will see those files are usseles or if you think are important just rename those files.

Should i update "DBSS" to play this corsair version? what is included in the new DBSS? something doesnt work in the first corsair version that were released?

From what I understood from Ledie's post the meta injector is packed in the the client .paz files. You would need to extract it.

Yes, I followed @seramyu's direction and used his suggested web translator for the file names and noted they duplicated existing files. I will try your advice with the server updatedbss extraction.

I have the whole client unpacked, like everything, all paz files extracted of both clients, the steam one and the one that was with the files. Did not find anything hidden like a meta injector^^

This meta-injector is a meta-injector adapted to work with Corsair official client. I don't know if the leaked corsair files have it

You need update the client dbss and sync with server, or you won't go be able for example to sell items to npcs

Sadly the updated meta injector is not in the corsair files, so still no patching possible because if i even try to patch just one file with the python script the client instantly commits sudoku.
