Looking for useful Tutorials for absolute beginner

Hello everyone,

I talked to my friend yesterday and he was telling me about his days as a Silkroad Online Dev and how he started with Emulation and im happy i found this place because i love BDO and you guys give me the chance to create my own BDO experience.

However i never ever did something in this way but im a pretty fast learner and i think learning by doing is the key.

I managed to get the Guardian Versoin 519 by Ledie working but you cant accept Quests or even attack mobs and i dont have any clue how to fix this but im realy interested to learn "how to"

So my goal is to work on just one version and slowly but slowly getting it to work and i dont rly plan to release a server by my own i just want a singleplayer version just for myself and maybe if its good for the community.

My questions are

What tools do i need and how to edit files?
I checked another thread and someone mentioned
that i need any Mongo editor = navicat15 ,studio3t
any SQLite editor = navicat15
I checked studio3t but it cost alot is there any free tool to use?

Can someone give me a basic understanding how this all works? Like why cant i attack mobs and how to fix it so that i can take that learning and maybe use it somewhere else.

I got time and if someone willing to answer me the questionsi would love to learn.
