So, not all commands work properly. Or I am not using the correctly but considering the lack of documentation its hard to tell.

Specifically the /freecam command, I have no idea how it works. It would be a really useful tool for screen-archery but when I use the command it puts an empty ascii character into the chat and does nothing else. Am I doing something wrong or does it just not work with the Evo client, or maybe there's a specific auth mode I need in the database?

Some commands tell me that I need to be on "the main server" so maybe this is a clue?

There are a lot of checks in the luacscript files for the dev client type.

You may need TYPE=DEV for many commands, and it is also possible that the necessary files for these commands to work are missing.

does the server allow connections with the dev type client? I assume I need to edit something in the datasheets for that.
