    Glad its working as well as I'd intended.

    There are temporary hard coded account changes made, that may need reviewing and corrected properly (was the only real hack together there was during testing phase).
    Currently the source was modified to automatically grant VIP, 9999 Global accounts/transfers/renames, grant all badges, and a few others within the same "account server" project and file.
    Not where I can just open it up and give you the exact file, so please be sure to diff this against "we were there" archive that is out on the net.

    Since I'm using git bin's I guess those changes get undone so all is well. The default_sku.cfg setup takes care of granting the badges, powers and costume item's. Once PR46 gets through we'll be able to buy things out of character generation and ingame with a click of the shopping cart. I'm gonna repack your release and update it with the git stuff once they merge in the rest of the AccountServer changes.

    Yes, also its in the downloaded DOCS folder in the main torrent, i made a mirrored site from it with httrack not long ago.


    Also I25 is developable too. It has the sources... just a question... in the forums for avoiding the misunderstandings, it would need separate sections i guess for I24 and I25... they are similar but far from the same...

    I already copyed I25 server setup/added some notes and an other one as a thread.

    Yeah, and as development forges ahead on the i24 stuff the differences between source get pretty wide too. Only reason I focus on the i24 is because I'm assuming that eventually it will include all the i25 content (though the actual use of the content is up for question since it was never released officially - the current i25 build/setup/source was built for a private server with a lot of game changes but not retail like at all.)

    I'm hoping that the i24 gets to the point in which the corp's group can implement the new issue's properly and more inline with the story line of the game. i25 for all intents and purposes is just a shell with *all* the content they ever did activated or available via npc's. I notice also they've changed power sets for the i25 which is also a bummer since it was again - not official. Lot's of other game changes as well via the def's and such. I'm not sure what i25 is but it's not really City of Heroes... Hehe.

    So far feature wise, i24 isn't far behind at all. After the accountserver is finished it'll be 100% working (still working on beacon server) from a ingame perspective. Everything else (sky items, powers, etc) that i25 add/changes for characters can now be defined via config changes and whatever additions i25 added to support actual i24/i25 content.

    Might need to add a couple extra sections tho if the work between the two diverges much more. hehe. I ain't trying to hate on i25, I just want your excellent brain working on i24 instead. lol.

    Well, you have no luck with me, i mostly use servers like I25 for private purposes. NWO, STO i all edited every single one of them to work like I25 (optimised for lan parties ect..)XD but i am intrested in i24 too...

    Well i dont - somewhat - agree but fine... i love this not retail like version... :D XD but i24 needs developing i agree.

    Also i can do programming in delphi/php/web/and hosting-uploading so if need help with those just yell :D I can do some programming sadfully Visual C is not my experties :D I can read the code though :D and fix smaller things. But not reprogramming, but i help with emulators as i can. Especially with this ;)

    Hi,

    I got everything all set up, but when I run the startitup.bat the launcher says it can't connect to 127.0.0.1 and then a DBerror comes up and says...

    "Launchers specified in loadBalanceShardSpecific.cfg or server.cfg are not connected, see console. These MUST be connected for the server to work properly, please fix this and click Retry. (See DbServer consol window for details.)

    I did try adding them in the loadBalanceShardSpecific.cfg under server with Command and the exe like the others. This worked for some, like the RaidServer and ArenaServer but not the StatServer.

    Could anyone point out what I'm doing wrong and give me a hand, I'm not very technically minded and I've gotten so close, so close......

    Oh, and I had CoH back in 2004 when It came out, so technically I did pay for the game... :)

    my balance shard looks like this:

    Just change all 192.168.3.80 to 127.0.0.1
    and 192.168.3.255 to 127.0.0.255
    This config will also eliminate the mentioned error message.

    It will also startup almost every service.
    What is assumably will crash is arena and raid server those need more cfg fiddling.
    Also the relay server is working, it will startup 2 of them. those two will fluctuate with every cycle(one closes, open an other one constantly) it is not an error it is how it does works. In the server monitor you will see all services what is started, you can also connect to your chatserverwith it and make various tasks like restart, ect...

    In my version queue server ios turned off so thats why it is commented out!!!

    I am also a legit buyer from 2006, i bought the original COH and COV edition(Issue 7 - "Destiny Manifest") with 45+90 days Charger cards :D i even got a 6 issue extra comics and a full 4 A4 Sized game map with paragon city and rogue islands :D

    Hi Flyer,

    Thank you for your help, it did help get me the database started (as far as I can tell). Now I have a new issue, I created an account, and it does seem to log in where I can select the server "Paragon" but then it hangs up and boots me to the log in screen with "You must fill out the account and password fields to log into your account".

    Any clues for the clueless? ;)

    What parameters you start your client with? You are using auth or DB?

    If you are using mssql database you need to start your client with -auth 127.0.0.1 instead of -db 127.0.0.1

    So MSSQL:
    -auth 127.0.0.1

    Flatfile Database:
    -db 127.0.0.1


    For example i use i25 with this command line parameter change the bold part to yours... :
    -patchdir score -patchversion 2019.04.19 -auth 192.168.3.80 -noversioncheck -nopopups

    AFAIK i24 has some issues with auth server... what version you use?

    from what i read Magoso is using one of the virtual machines prebuilt by the community and im assuming he isnt running the client inside the VM itself so 127.0.0.1 wont work @Magoso check what ip the virtual machine uses and match the client accordingly
