I'm not sure how to do it in 3ds max, but in the software I used when I was making maps, there were a light object that you can add anywhere in the map (x,y,z position for a light object), I assume you should have something similar to that here, or it should be in some plugins, that Wucas released (if I'm not mistaken)
To create a lightsource click on omni from the create -> lights section and then click anywhere in your scene (map).
If you select that light you can set if the light casts shadows or not, set the intensity (multiplier) and the range of said light.
Once you placed all your lights export your map, open it in worldedit and let worldedit generate your lightmap.
As for a skybox, make a sphere, delete the lower half (or leave it, up to you) uv wrap the sphere to fit your texture and name the object "obj_nameofyourdesire".

I took your video as a base. But I imported the map .obj for the 3ds max , I did everything but the map has fake walls and floors
I did it, but not yet.
