Hello. I am new to this section and I would like to know if I can create a GunZ Server with a 64-bt pc/laptop?
you can host Gunz on both version of OS (32/64bit)
32-bit applications run perfectly fine under 64-bit processors.
Downloading SQL or SQLexpress?
You can download both for 64.
theres clearly sql express for 32-bit and 64-bit
so its not "micro$hit"'s problem is the users failure to download the right file. Gunz runs fine on both processor types.
Stop spamming, the OP hasn't replied and you guys are still going on, stupid post count.
It's microshit's problem that they can't write a sql database manager for 32-bit that actually runs on 64 bit. The whole 64-bit processing standard clearly states that 32-bit applications must run on 64-bit processors, but then again, Microsoft sucks.
Hence the phrase, "Micro$hit's problem".
Do I honestly look like I give a flying fuck about post count?
Are you stupid? I can list at least 100 different programs that use 32-bit and 64-bit some programs are written to run better on x64. "If the program is specifically designed for the 64-bit version of Windows, it won't work on the 32-bit version of Windows. (However, most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows.)" If you make an application but you have a different version of the product for 32-bit and another for 64-bit, your gonna make sure the user is installing the write program to there computers specifications. Any installer maker out there has an option to only let it install if they computer is 64-bit or if its 32-bit. Ifs not a problem and it doesn't suck. 64-bit > 32-bit. If you cannot figure out which program to install its clearly your problem. And no where it says that 32-bit applications must run on 64-bit and if it doesn't then there's probably a 64-bit application as well. You need to learn a bit more about processors and how they work before you start acting like its a bug, or microsoft is doing something wrong. There just trying to make sure they user has the max compatibility. And in the future btw, everything with be 64-bit. And Microsoft isn't shit because I'm sure your using it right now. Case closed.
Gee, I think I hit a nerve.
Here, lemme explain something.. A 32-FUCKING-BIT APPLICATION SHOULD RUN ON 64 BIT PROCESSORS.
If you want to run 64-bit applications, have fun, but 32-bit should run flawlessly out-of-the-box.
obtw- YOU need to learn a li'l bit more about processing before acting like you know something in the first place.
Oh, Microsoft is beneath me- that's why I don't use Windows.
Ever.
Lemme get this straight- I'm saying that 32-bit programs, which should run, should run- and you're telling me that I can't understand or don't understand a lot?
64-bit executables are created to be optimized under 64-bit processors, true, but 32-bit applications should also run under said processors for various reasons, just for the sake of it.
Here's a rule of thumb, in case you ever decide to learn programming- if you're sacrificing a working feature, no matter how insignificant, you're a terrible programmer.
Stop flaming please the other one already gived the link. BTW, thanks!
