    999 ping - But no Agent Error (2008 serverfiles)

    Hey everyone, i am using 2008 serverfiles, nat works, ive had atleast 4 people login to the server and game works fine, however i have 1 friend who gets 999 ping.
    the thing is, in-game it says: (NAT NETWORK CONNECTION SET "his character name") so it apears that his connection has been successful, BUT he has 999 ping and to him *i* have 999 ping.

    again, this is the only person who is having problems, i am thinking it is on his end which is causing him to have 999 ping?

    that is what it says, shows he connected properly, but he geets 999 ping. :]

    i hope someone can help xD

    did you make sure to hex edit the matcherver.exe and change the IP in there to your IP? That helps fix that error

    Post your AgentConfig.xml. The other 3-4 people that got normal pings may not have any NAT problems at all. It doesn't prove that the Agent is configured correctly. Also, if you're using the 2008 files, Hex edit the MatchServer and search for 210.174.197.180 and replace it with your IP.

    Also, use the 2008 MatchAgent provided by GUNZ2830.

    Ok, here is me about to search in hexeditor for that ip, and here is the agentconfig.xml:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr"?>
    <XML>
    <AGENTCONFIG>
    <NAME>OutOfBoredom</NAME>
    <MAXCLIENT>500</MAXCLIENT>
    <MATCHSERVERADDRESS ip="127.0.0.1" tcpport="6000"/>
    <ADDRESS ip="108.2.185.9" tcpport="7777" udpport="5100"/>
    </AGENTCONFIG>
    </XML>

    ok there you go, could you please link me the match agent from GUNZ2830?

    i would greatly apreciate it :)

    *ahhh i love you :D, i just hex edited the matchserver.exe and the IP was indeed not changed to mine, i remember do it on the original 1 i had, but i must have forgotten that i got a new 1 xD ok now i just need my friend to test both THIS, AND the nomsg thing you are helping me with :)

    Re: 999 ping - But no Agent Error (2008 serverfiles)

    OK everyone who is having this issue, today i did something and my friend was able to connect, so here what i am ASSUMING your Server.ini should look like:

    [DB]
    DNS="GunzDB"
    USERNAME="SA"
    PASSWORD="yourpassword of course :)"

    [SERVER]
    MAXUSER=500
    SERVERID=1
    SERVERNAME="OutOfBoredom"
    FREELOGINIP="WANIP"
    KEEPERIP="WANIP"
    MONITORIP="127.0.0.1"
    MONITORPORT=9000
    MODE="quest"
    COUNTRY="brz"
    LANGUAGE="brz"
    USETICKET="0"
    EnableMap="0"

    [LOCALE]
    DBAgentPort=5100
    DBAgentIP=127.0.0.1

    [LANGUAGE]
    LANG_TYPE="brz"

    [FILTER]
    USE="0"
    ACCEPT_INVALID_IP="1"

    [ENVIRONMENT]
    USE_HSHIELD="0"
    USE_XTRAP="0"
    USE_EVENT="0"
    USE_FILECRC="0"
    USE_MD5="0"
    USE_RESOURCECRC32CACHECKECK="0"

    [POWERLEVELING]
    USE_POWERLEVELING_DB_BLOCK="0"
    POWERLEVELING_DB_BLOCKTIME="10"

    [KILLTRACKER]
    USE_KILLTRACKER="0"
    MAXKILLCOUNT_ON_TRACETIME="40"

    [LOOPLOG]
    USE_LOOPLOG="1"
    MAX_LOOP_TIME_GAP="0"

    server.ini is located in the match server folder. (o and only edit the server ini where it says WANIP, the other IP's (127.0.0.1) leave alone :] and hopefully you will nolonger have that issue :D<3

    now here is my AgentConfig.xml:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="euc-kr"?>
    <XML>
    <AGENTCONFIG>
    <NAME>OutOfBoredom</NAME>
    <MAXCLIENT>500</MAXCLIENT>
    <MATCHSERVERADDRESS ip="127.0.0.1" tcpport="6000"/>
    <ADDRESS ip="WANIP" tcpport="7777" udpport="5100"/>
    </AGENTCONFIG>
    </XML>

    Again only edit where it says "WANIP" =]

    ** O and another thing, i'm not saying that your server.ini has to look like mine, the only thing you should really compare and edit is where the ip address's are :)

    Don't listen to kakashi.
    FREELOGINIP in the server.ini should be left blank.

    All you configuration files are fine. You need to port forward.
