Many Gunzes dont have auto update in the launcher

Post here your server ip.
And you most have in your appserv folder a map gunzweb with a map GunzUpdate in.
You do your client files in Gunzupdate and delete patch.xml patchlog.xml patchlog.txt config.xml and lastchar.dat
I MAKE THE LAUNCHER FOR YOU THAT WORKS WITH AUTO UPDATE !

check your firewall or portforward or download hamachi and make a gunz with hamachi
why not just expain how to do it correctly? It isnt hard. If they dont got it, then they probably dont deserve it because they didnt take enough time to learn what they needed.
Also you only need to delete the old patch.xml. You do not need to delete all the other stuff..... zzzzz

that laauncher was alreaady released by GUNZ2830 and the reason some people don't have it is because the morons remove that function with PE explorer when they delete the EXE which doesn't need to be done for the newer launchers only back for the 2005 torrent onesOriginally Posted by chimchar

You know what I want? A launcher that doesn't set off fucking anti-virus.
There are some launchers with virusses, but you need to delete the EXE resource with PE Explorer like said before..
But then it wouldn't update. AV's see gunzlauncher as a generic downloader, which is a heuristic scan.
