    smile Blender/Gtkradiant brushes

    I have some questions?
About Blender importing/exporting to GTKradiant .map
I create some model/statue on BLENDER 2.49b then I OPEN it on GTKradiant.

    My Questions is..

When I OPEN MY MODEL MAP on GTKradiant so many brushes POP-UP and when you will put some light it will crash.

Can someone give me a solution or an IDEA? to make the MAP on blender that low brushes..
its like connect all the links .. and become one.

so that when I open it on GTKradiant it will only get 1 brush?

    Thanks for helping.

I was tried it but no crash.
If you put a light so much, or in a special point, and textures get error ( i don't know why ) so it will crashed.
And YOU SHOULD IMPORT IT NOT OPEN IT.

If you are building a map in blender, why go that route? Why not import it into 3DS Max and use the official map creation plugin by Maiet

Because the collision compile will be bugged this way.
Oh, and you have to assign the materials, and other settings :).

Dont make your map with blender, the "standart" quake 3 map script isnt realy "working" with gunz.

A brush has atleast 4 faces, but mostly consits of 6 faces.
Every face from blender will be converted into a full brush (6 faces/a cube).
So you end up with way to many unneeded faces.

Either change some lines in the quake 3 map script, get max and the plugins from the source, or stick to radiant.
There's no way inbetween that is worth the trouble.

Dont bother with such details, make a dummy with radiant and just add the statue as a model later.

You mean is add elu file in Map.
I was heard from someone that we are not make it located where we want, it only in the middle of the map, so lol

Gunz reads the position from the file, if youre model is at the world spawn its at your maps world spawn aswell.
Just make sure to mirror the x axis and you're good to go with the radiant coordinates.
