blocking

hey guys,
i got the large sword block "working" its just not really 100% lol.
when i hold it it does nothing but when i release it it does a fast little block :S i changed some .ani files
and got this :
weapon type = kantana

sum1 knows how to make it a real block? or isnt possible?
