    Curious about something

Yes I know I'm going to get flamed for asking this, as its kinda simple really, but I just want to remove the 2 hours of guesswork (logging in, testing, logging out, updating files, logging in, testing again, etcetc) from the picture.

Ok, lets say I wanted to create an entirely new item, using old models. Ok, for this instance, lets say I wanted to create a new shotgun. First, I guess, I would update model.mrs, taking one of the pre existing model animation/model and skin, renaming them, then hex editing the animation file to link to the skin, correct? Then from there, I would write down the information (basically the model name) and modify weapons.xml (i think thats waht its called) so that the type information is correct. From there you would head over to zitem.xml and create a new entry with a unique item code, copy and pasting the code from another shotgun to make sure everything is similar. Then you link to the skin of the shotgun and edit the stats to be what you want. From there you can use strings.xml to name it (if you want) or you can just type it in zitem.xml.

Is there anything I missed? And I'm assuming for clothes, its the same idea, except instead of model.mrs, its inside the model folder with man and woman.mrs. Also, how do update packs work? Some clients link directly to them, while others don't use them at all, so if I wanted I could just copy over the information from the update packs and update zitem/whatever else needs updated in the system.mrs file?
