Cursor not showing up...help

I'm helping my friend fix his loading screen images. We finally were able to do it but we ran into a problem. We both ran gunz.exe and when we got to to the login screen, the cursor was missing. Before we edited the loading screen images, the cursor was there. What file controls the cursor?

Your files are corrupt which means the cursor is corrupt.
