Default.mrs size = 1kb

I decompiled my default.mrs, I edited the color of the text in-game, and then I used the ZUpdateBuiler, I edited the patch.xml right, and then when I load gunz it crashes.
So I went back to the VPS, checked it File Size = 1KB!?!!

And then when I try to decompile, doesn't decompile, so the default.mrs has nothing in it wtf!

Anyone know why?

When I try to save it after editing, it says this
"You are about to save the document in a text-only format which will remove all formatting. Are you sure you want to do this?"

Ok it doesn't crash, but now when I load gunz, I select my character, and the screen stays black....

You don't even know if you encrypted your files or not? Get the things about your server clear in your mind first. You're confused and it's causing errors.

u know why ? probably because u dint saved it . U have to right click the file u save compiling/editing/decompiling and set it to full permissions for ur admin user /users

I got that part right...

It's just when you select your character, the screen goes black.

why 1kb? You compiled wrong.
it happens when you compile folder that doesnt exist (canot be found or diffrent name) so your compiler just compiles emtry foldzer.

try deleting config.xml or something :P

also try looking if u get same black screen with original default mrs.

It's only when I edit the Lobby.xml

Then you need to post what you edited, as you can assume thats where the problem lies.

if its only edit there and after it u get black screen, then search mistake there or post what you edited on rz forum as Aristrum said >_>
